This incredible story is about a Crypto Currency Romance Scam. And man, what a romance it was. Hell, I was falling in love, then; BAM! I'm out a $1000 Bucks! It all started with a WhatsApp message that just popped up in my contacts. It said "Hello" and I replied "Hello" I had no idea who this was. She then asked me if I was Edward Ho. She claimed that she had entered the wrong number in her WhatApps. Yeah, right! Likely story, as lately several girls have popped up on my WhatsApp contacts. Anyway, I checked out her WhatsApp avatar, and didn't mind her contacting me; she was a cute looking woman! And, I wanted to see what this was about. So, we exchanged Facebook pages and started chatting on Messenger.

We chatted for a little while on messenger, then moved to WhatsApp and continued there. One part of my chat on messenger, where I mentioned that i was trying to transfer money to my Crypto wallet, is what got her really interested in me. I had no idea that she was into Crypto trading. (a Crypto currency scammer, actually) She had mentioned that she owned two beauty salons in New York, and that she was a Wall street financial advisor. I told her that I was into real estate, buying & flipping condos.

Looking at her FB page as she had friended me, I though she was just a cute Asian woman to follow. Actually, I have to admit that she was a very attractive, middle age woman, very affluent and professional looking, that I thought could possibly be attracted to me. There were many pictures in her photo album, of her in business settings, restaurants and other places. Each one looking as pretty as the next one. The account looked pretty real

As we progressed in our chat she reiterared to me that she worked on Wall Street as a Cryptocurrency Business Manager. What a coincedence! I had been chatting for quite a while with this other girl (who also turned out to be a fake) about crypto trading and I was having such a hard time, trying to set up a debit card to my Crypto wallet. I never did set up my wallet with a debit card. Every time I tried to transfer funds, the stupid bank would decline the transaction. I even tried to do an online wire transfer (with Bank of America) and they declined it. I must have spent 2 hours on the phone with them, talked to 5 different people, and finally they processed the wire.

So now, Donna was trying to convince me that if I didn't work with a professional, I could lose a lot of money. So, we talked for quite a while about various crypto investments, and crypto scams... She sent me links of various Crypto sites to get educated on investments as well as links of crypto scams on the internet. In fact, she was trying to lure me away, from the other girl (Su Alisa) who I was about to trade with, citing that she was most likely a scammer. Su Alisa's story, which is just as interesting as this one, is also published here on this site.

So, Imagine that! The girl that was steering me away from a scammer, is the one who FUCKED ME! Ha! Do you believe that shit? She managed to kill my relationship with Su Alisa by pointing me to an Instagram page of Su Alisa, that had hundreds of pictures of her (many of which Su had sent me as recently taken.) There was a video, where friends of her, were celebrating her birthday, singing "Happy Birthday Freya" the name of the Instagram account. So, I confronted Su Alisa about that. She continue insisting however, that she was that beautiful woman in those pictures. Long story short, I told Su Alisa to take a hike. And continued chatting with Donna

Here is a second page that I just found, accidently

So, we continued talking about trading as she slowly tried to interest me in making some trades. Suggesting that I can make a lot of money. She even showed me what was supposed to be some of her trades that showed Huge profits; in the 6 figure range. But I told her that I as not ready to trade yet. She told me that we could do a video call. I should have, but I had just had dental implant surgery, didn't have dentures yet, and didn't want her to see me without teeth. As the conversation continue, she invited me to New York to visit her at her office, and or at one of her salons. So, we talked for a while about a visit to New York, for the weekend, just to meet, have a nice dinner, and spend some time together, getting acquainted. It all sounded so great then! Although I see now that it was all an act; part of the romance scam.

These women are pros! They charm you up slowly to minimize suspicion. They chat with you, send you various pics of their day, but those are mostly old pics that are not posted anywhere. They send you pics of the dinner they are cooking, and ask you about your dinner plans... Anyting to keep you interested and sidetracked. A little bit at time the romance gets a little more noticable, a little more intimate, they talk about spending time together, traveling around the world all with tons of love, hearts, flowers and happy face emojies. They want to help you make fast, easy money to cover traveling expenses. In short, they just charm the hell out of you, to steal your heart, and gain your trust. All the while always bringing up investment opportunities. They want to get you invested. The are very persistent.

As we continue chatting, the intimacy grew more & more each day.. I was becoming very anxious to go to New York and meet her. But then she mentioned that because of her work, I may have to wait a few months before I can come up. I've spoken to other girls that use the sme excuse when I mentioned coming to visit. They invite you to come & visit, (to gain your trust) but there's always a reason, that you cannot come. But they insist on doing a trade before a visit, so that they can screw you. A visit will not happen.

At some point amidst all that love & travel talk, Donna mentioned an opportunity for a trade. The trade was to be just for $1000 bucks. She said that she would even be responsible if I took a loss.. Yeah Right! At that particular moment, I thought what the hell! Wrong! I figured if I made some money and everything went well, great! But, if I lost my money, as a result of her scam, then... well she would go away, and I could get back to work on my real estate project where I can actually make money. So, we made a transction. Oh, it was such a pain in the ass to get money on that exchange to trade. I had to send her a screenshot after each step that she had me do. Every time I sent her a screenshot, I had to re-login to my Crypto wallet, to continue... So much work for so little return. Below are our order details

Ultimately, we made a trade. I bought $1000 of APX and closed it like 3 minutes later, for $107 profit. Cool I thought! I made $107.00 in 3 minutes, I could do this all day! Then, she showed me how to withdraw the profit, and transfer it back to my bank account. In the meantime, I was suspicious of that exchange though. Becasue reading about it on google, I found that the platform is located in Panama and that the US or Canada and a few other counties cannot use that platform. When I tried to register on the app, I was rejected because I live in the US. She recommended using the website version, that it would not have those restrictions. That's what we traded on.

Still very suspicious of that site, I googled the URL of the site, and nothing really came up. Hummm! That was weird. So I went to Whois.org, the record database of all web sites. That name was listed as only 6 months old, and it had a trust factor of 2. That kind of told me that I had lost my money. I went back to the site and my money was still there, but to be safe, I transferred it back to my Crypto wallet. I did it the same way, we had done the $107 profit, and I got a confirmation that the transfer was successful. Supposedly it takes 24 hours for the transfer to be completed. So, I waited until the next day. The next day came but the transfer did not come. Oh FUCK! I was freaking out, so I wrote to customer service... They insisted that I must have put the wrong wallet address in the transfer form. BULLSHIT! The address is copied & pasted, it can't be wrong. Now, 2 days later, still no transfer. I'VE BEEN FUCKED! Simple as that. The real site is: deribit.com, the fake site is: deribitproit.xyz

The Good & The Bad: While the bad part of being FUCKED is not so much the money in this case, (thank God it was a small amount) but the fact that I was violate. It's the same shit that anyone feels when they are robbed, get their car, boat or tools stolen in broad daylight... It just sucks Big Time! The good part is that it was not much money, and had I not discovered that site, I may have had invested some 5,000 to 10,000 on the next round and really lost my ass. In short this was a huge boxing lesson. One that I won't forget for a long time. I'll make the money back sooner or later, but won't be touching digital investments any time soon. And I get to write a story for everyone else of my Ronance Scam Loss so they won't suffer the same consequences.

The take away The take away from this is; understandably, older single guys are looking for companionship, love, some sort of a life. I get that. So was I. And like everyone else, looking on Facebook, which is just riddled with scammers of all kind, we see a lot of beautiful women. When I see a beautiful women, I send her a friends request. It's a hit or miss thing, but many accept my invitation. Lately, many of them started chatting with me. At one point I was chatting with 3 or 4 girls at the same time... I don't blame anyone for chatting with the cute girls, its' entertaining and sometimes interesting. BUT, as soon as you see a beautiful young woman, praising you, and flirting with you, it's definitely time to put your guards up. What would a young woman want with an old fart, old enough to be her dad? Nothing, absolutely nothing! And, ultimately they will bring up some sort of investment, in the midst of romancing you. BEWARE! If you fall for it like I did, YOU WILL GET SCREWED! My advice is cooldown, and bail out while you can.

Funny! when I notice the romance, I thought I would entertain it to see where it went so that I could write about the scam, which I'm doing now. I went along with the romance and put on plenty of charm myself. It was fun. I felt like I was 16 again, flirting with cute girls. But when it came to Donna, it was very different. She was not the Hot babe that has you drooling all over yourself. She was a very attractive, shapely, very well dressed, Wall Street/Business type middle age woman. Very affluent looking, a picture of success! Someone that you would seriously consider as a soulmate, not a sex toy. We talked & talked and over time I fell for her. Wish I had practiced what I preach. But for her, I was weak, I melted. It cost me!

Hope you enjoyed my story. It's a true story. I can prove every bit of it. And hopefully you will proceed very carefully with anyone you meet on these social media sites. Be well! It would be great if you would share this story as much as possible to warn other potential victims of the dangers of Digital Currency Trading.

Below are some screenshots of our chat, so you can understand the context of the story better. The chat was very long, lasting about a week until she finally blocked me on Whatsapp and on Facebook as well.

I feel that I should include a disclaimer as I don't know for a fact that the women in the pictures, is the actual person controlling the account. The account could have been hacked, or someone could have created an account using that woman's pictures, like Su Alisa had done. This woman, had come out of nowhere into my Whatsapp contacts claiming that I was a wrong number, but I'm not buying that.

It must be someone that I had chatted with before, who had my number, like maybe Su Alisa, who could have created a new fake page since she knew I was not going to trade with her until we met. She would not send me pictures that I could believe in. When we video chatted on Whatsapp, something happened with my phone that it had pop ups blocking the view of the video, or it would switch to the home screen and the end the chat. Also, we could not hear each other. The videos lasted 5 seconds or less. Not enough time to Identify someone Because of that, I told her to take a hike. So, who knows for sure who scammed me.

So, again, The woman in the pictures may not be the person who caused me to be scammed.

My advice: Don't trade any Crypto currency unless you really know the person you are trading with very well.

You can lose your money so easy in these markets and you have no recourses. The cops (or the FBI) are not going to investigate anything below a $million bucks or so, they don't have the man power....
