WOW! I can't begin to tell you HOW STUPID Facebook's Marketplace is. They are such MORONS. I just posted a condo for rent and got tons of response. However, it seems that everyone who responded, DID NOT READ that they must be over 55. It's a 55+ community, and residents MUST BE OVER 55.

So, after a half hour or so of all these Marketplace Idiots messaging me, driving me crazy, Marketplace ?or Facebook? removed my post. They said that I was discriminating. Do you believe that shit? HELLO! 55+ communities are approved by the state. I did file an appeal, however since they are such MORONS, ?I can't emphasize that enough? I doubted that the listing would be posted back; it wasn't

On the one hand, it's just annoying that IDIOT moderators on Marketplace are monitoring posts and removing them with no understanding of the context of the post. But, on the other hand, there are a lot of flakes on Facebook and its associated apps like the Markerplace, that can drive you nuts inquiring about something that they don't even qualify for. It seems that my post received 212 clicks in that 1/2 hour, but not a single one resulted in a potential renter for my condo. My view is that Facebook Marketplace is absolutely USELESS in terms of advertising.

In fact, I had 10 or 12 ads on the site, for TVs and various pieces of furniture to sell. I received a ton of messages on those items ?specially the TVs? but none of them resulted in a sale. They drove me nuts, people were messaging me late at night. People would ask me if the item is still available, I would reply "yes" but would not hear from them again.

So, they removed my post, without a valid reason, citing discrimination. They could have used whatever little intelligence they have and concluded that residents of 55+ communities, MUST BE 55 years old, or older; hence, no discrimination. Therefore, because of that I removed all of my posts from the site. And will never post there again to be bothered by all of those Social Media trolls.

Incidently, the condo is still coming up for rent, in mid May. It's a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, condo on the first floor. I am installing a new Mini Split A/C system, that saves ton on your electric bill. Gas, water & garbage are all included in your rent. It can be rented furnished or unfurnished. Rent, unfurnished for $1200 or furnished for $1350. Please understand that it is a 55+ community.
