Well, this is a quick review of Joe's Old School Pizza on Federal hwy., in Hollywood, Fl. Wifey saw them on Facebook, I believe & she wanted to try them out. So, on the 11th of January 2022, we went for pizza. It wasn't far from the house; about 15-minute drive. Because it's located in Hollywood, on Federal Hwy, where the area has not been renovated in years and everything looks old and a bit dilapidated, I had a feeling that it might be a dive.

So, we parked and walked up to the order counter, inside a warehouse like area, and began to order. We ordered a large cheese pizza for $18.00 + mushroom topping for an extra $3.50. Wifey ordered a coke because they didn't have any beer. I passed on the $1.99 can of coke.

We grabbed a table, sat & waited for the pizza to come. I was disappointed as sitting inside was actually like sitting outside. As the big warehouse type doors were wide open, and the wind blew. I really don't like sitting outside as I like my food, piping hot, and don't like the wind cooling it off.

So, the pizza came out. But there were no dishes, even paper plates, only plastic forks & knives, and not even paper cups to share the soda. I had to use a napkin as a plate. That sucked! The Pizza itself, for $25.00 was not tasty at all. Digiorno's frozen pizza tastes better. I had a few slices and called it a day.

My impression overall, is that this place is a dive. A real dive! Looks like its run on a shoestring, has no atmosphere, doesn't even look clean. It was like eating in a warehouse. I couldn't wait to leave. I won't be revisiting that pizza joint. Sorry!
